WorkBuddy Integration

WorkBuddy (Tencent) is a widely used AI workbench in China with built-in MCP connector support.

Configuration Steps

1. Open WorkBuddy → left sidebar "Experts · Skills · Connectors" → Connectors tab
2. Click Custom Connector (top right) → Configure MCP
3. Paste the following JSON:

4. Back in the MCP Services list, click Trust on that entry (the first connection must be trusted manually, otherwise the tools will not load)
5. Success when the status shows Connected and 22 tools are listed

TIP

WorkBuddy supports http (streamable), sse and stdio transports; PriceMinder uses http. Some versions are strict about the type value: if saving reports an unrecognized type, first change it to "type": "streamableHttp"; if that still fails, delete the whole type line — keeping the url field is enough for the client to infer HTTP.

Verification

After configuration, try the following in a WorkBuddy conversation:

• "My watch list" → Should return monitored product data
• "Any new price drop alerts?" → Should return alert records

FAQ

• Tools not showing: Check that you clicked Trust and the status is Connected
• Unrecognized type: Use streamableHttp as described above, or remove the type line
• 401 Unauthorized: The MCP key is invalid; generate a new one in the panel's MCP center
